甲府によっちゃばれし！

なんと、4月の桜や筍掘りの投稿から

まる4ヶ月が経ってしまいました・・・

 

TIme flies!

It’s been four months since I posted events  such as

Sakura Ohanami or Bamboo shoots hunting in April.

 

前から憧れていた金継教室の参加や、

甲府市の男女共同参画推進委員会に自治会代表で参加することになったり、

山梨県生涯学習センターが後押しする

山梨学院で行われた甲州財閥の歴史を知る8回講義に参加したり、

真田丸の時代考証をご担当の平山優先生の4回講義に参加したり、

イチゴ狩りやさくらんぼ狩りに行ったり、

地区のお祭りで焼きそば150食焼いたり、

有楽町のふるさと回帰センターで甲府の暮らし方セミナーでお話したり、

お盆で私が今住む家でかつて生まれ育った父叔父叔母など親戚が集まったり・・・・

書こうと思うことが後から後から・・・

 

I had been so busy with so many new things I want to write about such as

– starting to join one of my dream Kintsugi lesson,

(a Japanese traditional way of mending potary or china

using Japanese lacker from poison oak and gold powder)

– becoming a member of Kofu city committee for promoting Gender Equality.

– attending series of lectures of Yamanashi history supported by Yamanashi educational center

-experiencing “All you can pick and eat” style strawberry or cherry picking

– Participating regional festival and cooked 150 serving of Yakisoba

– speaking as one of the presentator of “how fun the life in Kofu is!”

– hosting the gathering of all my relatives at my house where they were born in and used to live in 50 to 70 years ago

 

でもとりあえず今回は、

私が甲府暮らしを始めた頃に

「果物は買わんだよ、どっかしらから回ってくるさ」

とご近所のおじいちゃんおばあちゃんに聞いて

「またまた、ご冗談を・・・」

と思っていたら、

本当にそうでした、というお話。

 

But my story today is

“Here, you don’t have to buy fruits, you will be given from somebody around you”

When I moved into Yamanashi and I heard this from my neighbors

I thought they were joking, but it was true,

 

山梨県は

桃やぶどうやすももの日本一の生産地で、

甲府の東には

石和〜勝沼〜一宮といったその主生産地があり

甲府の南には

さくらんぼやすももやとうもろこしを産出する中道から白根があり、

甲府市内に昔から住む方々は、

そういうエリアに親戚が誰かしらいらっしゃるケースが多く、

収穫期になると商品としては出せないちょっとした傷があったり

流通に乗せるには柔らかく熟したのを

「もってけし〜、だれっか食ってくれるほ〜がいいら」

と

どんどんくださるのだそうです。

そして、’そういうちょっとした傷があるものや熟したものは

味は流通に乗るのと同じように良いけれど傷みが早いので

大急ぎで食べなければならず

その結果「すぐ食べろしね〜」と周りに配るという

夢のようなシステムがあるのです。

 

Yamanashi prefecture is #1 Japanese producer of peaches, grapes and plums.

To the east of Kofu city, there is a main production area of peaches and grapes.

To the south of Kofu city, there is a production area of plums and cherries and corns.

Most of local neighbors in Kofu have some relatives who live in those area.

In harvest season,

there are many fruits with small scratches or ripen too much for shipping,

and farmers says to their relatives living in Kofu or other area.

“take them, take them! Better to be eaten by somebody than wasting!”

And those fruits are faster to be rotten so they need to be distributed to their neighbors for sharing.

It’s like a dream for fruits lover, isn’t it?

 

百聞は一見に如かず、以下は、頂いた果物の数々の写真。

一粒取れてしまって出荷できない高級ぶどう、いただきました。

 

 

 

おすそ分けいただいたうどを肉巻きに。こんな美味しい肉巻き食べたことない・・・

 

 

もらった桃を山梨土産のトップの清月ロールにのせて、勉強に来た生徒たちとおやつに食べる幸せ。

 

 

親戚がぶどう農家という生徒から差し入れ。
初物でした。美味しかった

 

 

 

幻のプラム、月光も、生徒のおじいちゃんが育ててる、とおすそ分け。

 

 

これは生徒が自分でもいで箱詰めして持ってきてくれたの

 

 

これも、生徒がおじいちゃんが育ててる、と持ってきてくれました。

 

去年は教えてる生徒が嬉しそうに

「海の日は桃の共選場に家族で朝から行くんです〜。

熟れ過ぎで出荷できない桃の置き場があって、

誰でもそこで好きなだけ食べたり持って帰ったりしていいんです」

と言うのを聞いて

「えっ？！何、聞き間違い？？もう一回言って？？！」

と驚きましたが、本当の話だそうです・・・・

あぁ、私も行ってみたい・・・

 

“I’m going to hub station for shipping peaches with my family.

There are many too ripen peaches not good for shipping out and

anybody can come and eat or take them.”

Last year when one of my students said that in peach season,

I was like

” WHAT?! Did I hear wrong? Could you say that again?!”

It is true story.

I wish I can go someday.

 

新鮮な果物や農産物が手に入りやすいって、

本当の豊かさだなぁ、としみじみ。

 

Easy to get fresh fruits and vegetables!
